Happy Place

Sometimes I participate in a Photo-A-Day Challenge ran by Fat Mum Slim (#fmspad). Today’s prompt is Happy Place. I thought for a while about where that might be. I thought about beaches, fireplaces and green countryside but I’m never entirely happy being in a particular place.
I worked out I have two happy places:
- The laughter and love of friendship, often enjoyed with wine and cheese, and
- Alone time for research, reading and writing, often enjoyed with a cup of tea.
Hence, I can be happy no matter where I live. The stacks of stuff that surrounds me is of such little consequence I need to stop stressing about how it’s all going to fit into our next abode.
